The Senate just got a whole lot funnier!

The Democrats have finally got the 60 votes in the Senate they needed to block any filibuster put on by the Republicans. This magical 60 gives them even more power to ram through legislation that is not beneficial to our nation or it's people. The Stimulate nothing plan, Cap and Tax, Health Care "Reform" so on and so forth. To keep things streamlined we can just bundle these things into a tiny little package and top it off with a big Socialist ribbon! Hooray for Marxism!

Aside from a majority party severely abusing it's powers in a nation built on transparent, honest, and bipartisan debate, the road to the magical 60 has been the great laugh that we struggling Americans needed, especially in a time of great economic woes lead by politicians who are more often than not self-serving, secretive, dishonest, and diametrically opposed to passing on a nation that is better, to the next generation, as has been our great American tradition since 1776.

Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) is the lucky number 60 for the Democrats. How fitting and proper that the last contested seat in the Senate goes to a comedian and the former host of Saturday Night Live. Since, after all, the Democrats and the political establishment in Washington needed another clown to make decisions that affect every American regardless of party affiliation or ideology.

Forgive my briefness, that was an extremely short list of the "esteemed" politicians that are a great collaborative representation of mainstream America...yeah right!
